Blue Whale v. Pod of Orcas

Video footage from the Monterey Bay Whale Watch shows what appears to be a pod of orcas attacking a lone blue whale. Someone representing the company wrote on their Facebook page,
The BLUE WHALE TAIL THROWS, blood flying off of its bitten right fluke tip, after its encounter with six killer whales. The blue whale immediately dove and sped away, popping up 1/4 mile away and then 1/2 mile away; the killer whales did not pursue it. This may be the first time such an encounter between these two species has been filmed in California!
